Vidhayak Kshetra Vikas Nidhi Yojana launched in the year 1999-2000. For the implementation of this scheme a provision of Rs. 15.00 lakh was made in the financial year 1999-2000 for each Assembly Constituency which was revised to Rs. 20.00 lakh from 2000-2001. This scheme was discontinued in the year 2001-02 but again started in the year 2003. In the year 2003-04, the amount of this scheme was increased to Rs. 24.00 lakh per constituency.
